The name your insurer already knows
PGT impact windows, installed by a local Sarasota crew.
PGT is the impact brand most Florida homeowners can name before they call us — and it is built in Venice, about 25 minutes down the Trail from our Sarasota showroom.

The line-up
Two frame materials, one impact rating.
PGT builds its impact catalog on two tracks. WinGuard Aluminum carries the higher structural numbers and is the usual answer for larger openings and direct salt-air exposure. WinGuard Vinyl uses multi-chambered frames for better thermal performance and lower upkeep. Which one belongs on your house depends on the opening size and the elevation — not on which one we would rather sell.
Origin, stated plainly
Where PGT is built
PGT manufactures in Venice, Florida — roughly 25 minutes from our Sarasota showroom. That proximity is not a marketing line: it shortens freight, it makes warranty service and replacement parts a local errand rather than a container wait, and it means the factory builds for the same coastline your home sits on.
What we file with your permit
Every unit we install carries Miami-Dade County Product Control approval and Florida Product Approval documentation. We pull the permit and file the paperwork — you do not chase it.
Exact design pressure and performance ratings depend on the specific configuration and opening. We confirm those for your home during the free estimate rather than quoting a number that may not apply to it.

Colors & finishes
PGT frame colors
PGT offers the widest finish range on our roster. Aluminum and vinyl carry slightly different palettes, and two-tone lets the exterior satisfy an HOA while the interior matches your paint.
Two-tone combinations (black/white and bronze/white) let the interior differ from the exterior, and custom colors are available beyond the standard range. Clear anodized is an aluminum finish and is not offered in vinyl.
Why this line
Where PGT earns its place.
Recognition cuts friction.
Appraisers, insurance adjusters and future buyers’ agents know the name on sight. When you file for a wind-mitigation credit or hand over documents at resale, a brand nobody has to look up is one less conversation.
WinGuard is the impact line.
PGT’s impact-rated products are sold under the WinGuard name. If a competing quote says “PGT” without naming the line, that is worth asking about — not every product a manufacturer makes is impact-rated.
Local factory, local crew.
We install it ourselves, in-house, from measure to final inspection. No part of the install is subcontracted.
Certifications
Don’t take our word for it.
Florida Product Approval and Miami-Dade County Product Control approval are both public record. Anyone can look up the exact product on a quote — ours or a competitor’s — and see its approved scope and expiry date in about a minute. We think you should.
We file the approval documentation for your specific configuration with the permit, and we hand you the paperwork at closeout. We do not print approval numbers on this page on purpose: they are tied to a particular product and configuration, and they expire — a number that looks reassuring here could be the wrong one for your opening.

The look
Styles, finishes and configurations.
Images are representative of the product itself, not photographs of our completed projects — we would rather say so than imply otherwise. We bring physical frame and glass samples to your free estimate, which tells you far more than any photograph.
Product ranges shown are the manufacturer’s catalogue, not a stock list. Availability varies by series, configuration and opening size, and finish colours shown on screen are approximations. We bring physical samples and confirm exactly what applies to your openings during the free estimate.

Comparing PGT against the others?
We are an authorized dealer for all four, so we have no reason to talk you into one. Here is the rest of the roster.
Architectural glass and large spans
ES Windows
Makes its own glass and aluminum, which is why the oversized units are standard product rather than a special order.
South Florida manufacturing
Mr. Glass
Thirty years and its own Miami plant, with ten residential lines and a commercial division behind them.
Energy performance, not just impact
Eco Window Systems
Specifies Low-E and laminated insulating glass as the default rather than as an upsell late in the quote.
