Hurricane Protection
Built for Florida’s toughest weather conditions, impact doors resist strong winds, airborne debris, and severe storms while protecting your home and family.
Impact Doors · Sarasota, FL
Doors fail before windows in a hurricane. Garage doors blow inward and pressurize the house; entry doors lose their hinges in a single gust. A certified impact door keeps your home sealed under Cat 4 winds and adds the same wind-mitigation credit that pays back on your insurance every year.

Colors & Finishes
Impact-rated doesn’t mean builder-white only. Every American-made frame is finished in a durable, salt-air-rated factory color, and the glass itself can be tinted for heat, glare, and privacy — so the window works with your architecture instead of fighting it.
Factory-applied finishes on heavy-gauge aluminum frames.
Pair any frame with a glass tint — plus optional Low-E coating for lower AC bills.

Built for Florida
Every product we install is Miami-Dade certified — the highest impact rating issued in the U.S. Heavy-gauge T6 aluminum frame, stainless steel hardware, laminated impact glass, factory-built, installed by our in-house team.

What they are
An impact door is a complete door system — door slab, jamb, threshold, hinges, locks, and (for glass doors) laminated impact glass — engineered and certified to survive Cat 4–5 hurricane debris. The full assembly carries a Miami-Dade NOA and a Florida product approval. Pop one fastener spec, swap one hinge, and the certification is void.
The same product line covers what people search for as hurricane doors, impact-resistant doors, hurricane-rated front doors, hurricane-proof sliding doors, and impact entry doors. The marketing varies. The engineering is the same.
Doors matter more than people think. In a hurricane, the garage door is the largest single opening on most homes — if it fails, the wind pressurizes the house from inside and lifts the roof. Entry doors are the second-largest single opening and the most exposed to wind-driven projectiles. An impact door system isn't an accessory. It's a structural piece of your home's storm envelope.
Benefits of high impact windows & doors
Impact windows and doors are advanced hurricane-resistant systems engineered with reinforced frames and laminated impact glass. Beyond storm protection, every certified system delivers six compounding benefits from day one.
Built for Florida’s toughest weather conditions, impact doors resist strong winds, airborne debris, and severe storms while protecting your home and family.
Laminated impact glass minimizes outside noise from traffic, construction, and neighbors — keeping your home quieter without sacrificing views.
High-performance insulated glass maintains indoor temperatures more efficiently, reducing heat gain and supporting lower cooling costs year-round.
Special laminated glass technology filters harmful UV rays, protecting your interiors, furniture, flooring, and décor from discoloration and sun damage.
Impact doors add an extra level of home security with durable laminated glass and multi-point locking systems significantly harder to defeat than standard doors.
A smart long-term upgrade that improves curb appeal, increases home value, and can reduce homeowner insurance premiums.

Highest-ROI upgrade
Wind-rated reinforced steel or aluminum garage doors with optional impact-glass window inserts. Often the highest-ROI upgrade because garage failure is the most catastrophic single point of failure in a hurricane.

Secondary outer door
Secondary outer doors for homes with a primary impact entry. Adds weather protection, ventilation, and security. Less common in new installs — most owners replace the primary door instead.
Ask about storm doors
Patio, side-yard, service
Patio, side-yard, mudroom and service doors. Often overlooked, but every uncertified opening drops your wind-mitigation credit. We retrofit the small doors at the same time as the front.
Ask about side doorsImpact doors vs storm doors
Buyers sometimes ask whether to add a storm door in front of their existing entry. In most Florida cases, the better move is to replace the primary entry door with a certified impact unit — same budget, much more protection, plus the wind-mitigation credit you can't get with a storm door alone.
If you're shopping a storm door because your front entry feels exposed, ask us about the impact-rated front door first. The price gap is smaller than you'd expect.
