Frame finishes

White or Bronze, built to last in salt air.

American-made frames are heavy-gauge aluminum with a factory-applied finish — not a field paint job that chalks and peels. Pick the finish that matches your trim, your roof, or the look you’re after.

Glass tints

Tint the glass for heat, glare, and privacy.

The laminated impact glass can be specified in a range of tints. A tint cuts solar heat gain and daytime glare on west- and south-facing openings, and adds privacy without blocking your view. Add a Low-E coating and argon fill for the biggest cut to your AC bill.

  • Low-E coatings reflect heat while keeping the glass clear
  • Laminated, insulated glass with argon for thermal performance
  • The interlayer still blocks 99% of UV in any tint

Beyond color

The details that make it yours.

Two-tone frames

Want white inside to match your trim and bronze or black outside to match the exterior? Many configurations support a different interior and exterior finish.

Grids & muntins

Add colonial or prairie grid patterns — 1″ flat or ogee profiles in Colonial, Brittany 6, and Brittany 9 layouts — for a traditional or coastal look.

Hardware

Sweep locks, cam locks, and ultra-lift balances finished to coordinate with your frame — corrosion-rated for Florida salt air.

Color FAQ

Impact window colors & glass tints, answered.

Does a colored frame or tinted glass cost more?

White is the standard finish. Darker and specialty finishes (bronze, black, anodized, mahogany, hazelnut) and specific glass tints can carry a modest upcharge that varies by configuration and quantity. We line-item it on your free estimate so there are no surprises.

Can the inside be a different color than the outside?

In many configurations, yes. A common choice is white on the interior to blend with trim and a darker exterior finish for curb appeal. We confirm which finishes are available as a two-tone for your specific window and door types during the estimate.

Does the color or tint affect the impact rating?

No. The finish and glass tint are cosmetic options on the same Miami-Dade certified assembly. The laminated interlayer, frame structure, and Florida Product Approval are identical regardless of color.

Will a dark frame fade in the Florida sun?

The finishes are factory-applied and rated for exterior exposure, including coastal salt air. Normal weathering is covered under the manufacturer’s finish warranty — we go over the exact terms before you sign.
