Does GlassIQ offer financing on impact windows and doors?

Yes. We partner with national home-improvement lenders that specialize in window and door financing. Most approvals come back within one business day. We bring the application paperwork to your free estimate so you can apply on the spot — but there's no obligation, and you can shop your own bank or HELOC if you prefer.

What credit score do I need?

Most of our lender partners have programs starting at 640. Higher scores (700+) qualify for lower APRs and longer terms. We pre-screen against multiple lenders to find the one with the best terms for your credit profile, not just the first that approves.

What loan terms are available?

Typical terms run 12 to 144 months. Most clients pick a term that lines up with their projected insurance savings — for a typical-size project, a 120-month term often results in a monthly payment close to (or less than) the monthly insurance savings from the wind-mitigation credit.

Are there promotional rates?

Yes. Lenders rotate promotional programs — common ones include 0% APR for 12–18 months (no payments, no interest if paid in the promo window) and reduced-rate 60-month programs. The available promos change; we walk through current options during the estimate.

Can I use a HELOC or pay cash instead?

Absolutely. We accept cash, check, HELOC draw, or financing. Our lender programs exist as an option, not a requirement. We're happy to work with whatever payment structure makes sense for your finances.

Is there a prepayment penalty?

Most of our partner lender programs have no prepayment penalty. Some promotional programs have specific conditions tied to the promo (e.g., paying off the principal during the 12-month no-interest window). We disclose all terms in writing before you sign anything.
